Do you need free supplemental food and toiletries for your household each month?
25 years ago the food pantry was started by a group of nursery school students at the First United Methodist Church. They gathered all kinds of food donations and made them available to the community. From this humble beginning the Baldwinsville community food pantry evolved.
Today you may use the food pantry one time per month for a variety of meats, pasta, canned goods, and juices just to name a few items. According to the New York State guidelines you only need to show your proof of residence living within the Baldwinsville School district, an estimate of your monthly income and the number of people in your household.
The food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Just call the pantry @ (315) 635-6442 between those hours and make an appointment to pick up your groceries. The entrance to the pantry is on Charlotte Street at the First United Methodist Church. Look for the brown and white sign that announces Baldwinsville Community Food Pantry. If you care to make a monetary or food donation please drop them off at the pantry between the hours of operation.
