Help us support Baldwinsville families in need
The Baldwinsville Volunteer Center is holding a food and toy drive to support local famillies in need this holiday season. All food donations will go to the Baldwinsville Community Food Pantry and toys and other gift items will be distributed by the Christmas Bureau. We’ll collect donations at the Tree Lighting Ceremony before and after the Parade of Lights.
Where: Baldwin Canal Square – look for the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center table
When: November 29th, 4:30-7:30pm
What: Non-perishable food items and NEW, unwrapped toys and clothing. See below for more details.
**All donations go to families in the Baldwinsville School District**
Food items needed:
All food must be before it’s best-by date. We’d appreciate any of the following non-persishable food items:

- Pasta, noodles
- Pasta sauce
- Canned or boxed soup
- Canned fruit, beans, vegetables
- Rice & beans
- Stuffing mix
- Canned tuna & chicken
- Cereal
- Peanut butter & jelly
- Flour, baking powder, sugar, and other baking supplies
- Cooking oil, salt, spices, condiments, other pantry staples
- Applesauce, granola bars, crackers, and other packaged snacks
- Baby formula, baby food
Toys & gifts needed:
All toys and clothing must be new and unopened. We accept:

Clothing (especially coats, gloves, and boots)

Household items, etc.
- Gift cards (Walmart, gas stations, grocery stores, dollar store, etc.)

If you would like to “adopt” a family or buy something specific for a child, check back soon for our Amazon wishlist. And if you don’t like to shop, you can make a monetary donation and our buyers will do the shopping for you!
