The Baldwinsville Lions Club is developing a new fund raiser that is hoped to become a new annual community event. It will be: “Lions Craft & Family Fun Fest” The event, scheduled for October 5 & 6, 2019 located in Diane Reeves Memorial Park will feature approximately 50 hand selected crafters (maybe more), each offering hand made goods; a food concession by Barney’s BBQ; face painting by Julie Cooper of Airfx Body Art; apple fritters and a family fun tent offering carnival games and children’s activities. The Baldwinsville Lions will also host a food concession offering soft pretzels and popcorn and apple cider milk shakes While this event will provide 2 full days of family fun and an opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early, it will also offer volunteer opportunities for several different stations throughout the festival. Volunteer opportunities will include children’s games operators, apple fritter crew members and, Lions food concession crew members. This is a new event for our community that we truly hope can be an annual event. Generally, funds raised by crafters rental space and the Lions food concession will support the community service activities of the Lions. However fund raising activities by other Baldwinsville not for profit organizations may be considered.
