 The Canoe Dock will need staffing on weekends beginning May 8th through September.  Two hour shifts are available to hand out life jackets and paddles to renters during park hours.

Help supervise and serve snacks to kids during “movie night” which is held once a month at PEACE, Inc. from 5:45 until 8:30 p.m.  Volunteers need to be age 14 and older.  Call Ellen Stevens at 638-1051 each month for the date.  PEACE, Inc. is located at 93 Syracuse St. in Noble’s Plaza.

The Baldwinsville Head Start Program is looking for volunteers starting this fall.  Assist teachers with crafts and other activities.  Volunteers need to 18 and older.  The program operates weekdays beginning at 7:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Call Anne Napper at 638-2295.

The Syracuse VA Medical Center needs volunteers to provide respite care in Veterans homes.  The volunteer support caregiver will provide a much needed break to the Veterans family caregiver for a short period of time,  here in the Baldwinsville area.  Training is available and for more information, please call Bill Bryant at 425-4317.
